About the Opportunity: 

Shermco Canada is currently seeking a motivated and safety-focused Apprentice Electrician to join our Electrical Services team based in Regina, SK. This team provides electrical construction, maintenance, and specialty solutions to a diverse client base in industries such as Utilities, Mining, Oil & Gas, and Technology. Our work spans 24V to 230kV, and we pride ourselves on delivering industry-leading service, safety, and technical excellence.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

    • Construct, alter, repair, and test electrical components used in industrial operations

    • Install and maintain low, medium, and high voltage electrical systems and equipment

    • Work safely in industrial environments, including around energized control and power systems

    • Support a safety-first culture through adherence to Shermco policies and procedures

    • Perform duties in line with the competency expectations for Apprentice-level Electricians

    • Travel as required based on project needs

    • Comply with Shermco’s Health, Safety, Personnel, and Alcohol & Drug policies

    • Perform other duties that you are assigned and trained to do

Qualifications

Qualifications

    • Experience in industrial or commercial electrical environments is an asset

    • Completion of industrial safety certifications considered an asset

    • Must be fluent in English (written and verbal)

    • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract

    • Willingness to travel for out-of-town project work
