About the Role


Shermco Industries is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Billing & Administrative Coordinator to join our Saskatoon, Saskatchewan operations. Reporting to the Regional Billing Lead-Canada, this role supports day-to-day business operations through accurate invoicing, well-organized documentation, and responsive administrative support.

 

The Billing & Administrative Coordinator works closely with Project Managers and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate billing while providing professional customer service related to invoicing and account inquiries. This position is well-suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Billing & Invoicing

  • Prepare, review, and issue customer invoices, billing summaries, and supporting documentation accurately and on time
  • Collect, verify, and organize billing information from Project Managers and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate billing records to support audits, reporting, and internal reviews

Customer & Internal Support

  • Act as a primary point of contact for customer billing inquiries
  • Respond professionally to billing questions and assist in resolving discrepancies or issues
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers and internal teams to ensure billing accuracy and clarity

Administrative Support

  • Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for billing and administrative records
  • Generate reports, correspondence, and other administrative documents as required
  • Perform general administrative tasks including data entry, document preparation, scanning, and record maintenance
  • Support additional business administration and project coordination activities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a related field is considered an asset
  • A combination of education and relevant administrative or billing experience will be considered
  • Previous experience in invoicing, customer service, or administrative coordination particularly within service, construction, or manufacturing environments is preferred but not required
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with ERP systems such as Business Central or Navision is an asset
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills for both internal and external interactions
